Trombone Christmas 2023 – Another Successful Night

With an incredible turnout of over 350 attendees and around 40 talented players, this year’s Hearts of Music concert set the stage on fire! The generosity of our audience shone through as we raised an impressive $4,795 in donations!

A massive shoutout to our amazing Hearts of Music volunteers, including the fantastic Missy Kelly and Deborah Check, and the unwavering support from board members Nancy Ackerman and Fran Reichenbach. Their dedication turned the greeting area into a lively hub of positive energy and cheer. It’s safe to say that this year’s concert was not just a success; it was a celebration of community spirit and the power of music to bring joy and support. 

Roving videographers Merlin David and Olivia Duke captured the richness of the Trombones LA performance with Bill Reichenbach’s talents and sense of humor rounding out this joyful event.

This contains all of Volume 1 plus 15 new tunes recorded this summer by many fine L.A. trombonists. All proceeds from the sale of this CD go to the “Hearts of Music Fund” which is a 501(c)3 corp to benefit musicians with health related expenses.
