Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 6020 Radford Ave, North Hollywood
Emmanuel Lutheran Church has been the home for Trombone Christmas and they are welcoming one and all once again! The same players will play from the great original arrangements that you have enjoyed plus other charts you may not have heard before. Please come to this free concert benefitting the Musicians Foundation.
The devastating wildfires have deeply impacted Los Angeles, taking so much from our city and the artists who call it home. Many musicians have been profoundly affected, and the list continues to grow.
At Hearts of Music Fund, we are honored to ensure your donations go directly to those in need. We’re supporting MusiCares, an organization dedicated to providing critical assistance to music professionals.
From this point forward, we encourage you to donate directly to MusiCares to maximize the impact of your generosity: https://musicares.org/?form=donate.
As always, the music community continues to show incredible resilience and compassion. Your support means the world, and we thank you for standing with us.
It was a nearly full house at Emmanual Lutheran Church on December 15, 2024. Bill Reichenbach led a 51-piece trombone choir playing all the excellent holiday arrangements he is known for. Here is a photo Jerry Hey took, and we will post more as they come in. The generosity was high, and so was the enthusiasm. The plates were passed, and the fund received over $5,000 to help musicians in crisis.
Trombones LA once again offers this free concert on December 10, 2023 to usher in your Christmas and holiday celebrations. We hope you’ll come and join us at:
Emmanuel Lutheran Church
6020 Radford Avenue
North Hollywood, CA 91606
This free concert starts at 7 p.m., but doors open at 6:30 p.m.
The yearly “Trombones LA” concert is the Hearts of Music Fund’s biggest and best fundraising effort of the year. Your generous donation supports musicians and their families facing extraordinary health care expenses in situations of illness or death. In fact, your financial gift brings holistic healing and hope in situations when other funding support is limited or unavailable. All gifts are tax-deductible.
Trombones LA CDs will be available for purchase at the concert for your gift-giving needs.
With thanks,
Bill Reichenbach
PS Here’s a pdf flier for this event – share with your friends and family, all are welcome!
Since we couldn’t have our regular Trombone Christmas this year, I got together with the only socially distanced trombone choir I could afford…me! I hope you enjoy this and I wish everyone a safe and sane Holiday! I hope you are able to make a year end donation to help those professional musicians in medical crisis! ~ Bill Reichenbach
It’s another wonderful year and we are looking forward to seeing you all and your families and friends at this 2019 performance! Here’s the PDF of the flyer – CLICK HERE
The Hearts of Music Fund is a non-profit fund established to assist musicians with emergency medical needs. Many musicians, although working, do not have or qualify for medical insurance and, as we all know, illness and accidents don’t check for medical coverage before striking. Created in 2003, Hearts of Music Fund has been raising money by offering concerts every Christmas season by the Trombones-L.A. trombone choir. They perform holiday music (arranged and conducted by Bill Reichenbach) at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 6020 Radford Ave., N. Hollywood, CA 91606.
